stephan gersh
Stephan Gersh works with metal as a three dimensional medium to explore ideas and dream images. The process is a reciprocal interplay between the material elements and those elements guiding the unfolding of the vision. He uses steel, brass, bronze, copper and glass as basic materials. The techniques include Mig and Tig welding, forging, and molten metal to give voice to the final form. Many of his sculptures are meant to be seen outdoors and relate to a specific setting.
